Brunch at the Sofitel

Yesterday Scott took me out for our yearly Vandy - Ole Miss post-game brunch. We went to the Hotel Sofitel Santa Clara for their fancy continental breakfast. I had a waffle and Scott had an omelette, then we both had coffee, juice, and a variety of breads, jams, and fruits. It was so good.

The hotel was originally built as a convent in 1621 and it sits right up against the old city's walls. There is a pretty courtyard in the middle, which we faced as we ate.
