Highlights from the Habash Visit

We had a great time while my parents were here visiting. Since it is so hot here during the day (even though it's winter), we mostly relaxed around the apartment in the morning and then headed out for sightseeing in the afternoon (it starts to cool down here at about 3:30 pm). We walked around the old city and our neighborhood, toured several museums, did some shopping, and of course ate delicious local food. Here are some highlights from their trip:

My dad in front of the naval museum
Scott taking the wheel of an old ship
My parents on the wall of the old city
My dad's famous Christmas maple nut roll before it was baked (we discovered that this size pizza pan didn't fit in the oven, so the roll had to be split in half and baked in two batches)
Scott with his very own grill, cooking the Christmas beef tenderloin

With my mom before a nice seafood dinner out
Scott and my dad on our balcony
Holiday lights in one of the plazas of the old city
