Lulo Juice

One of my favorite juices in Colombia is lulo juice. Lulos, known in several other Latin American countries as "naranjillas" or "little oranges," are small orange fruits. Though the pale green flesh looks similar to that of a kiwi, the taste is more on the sour side.

Making the juice takes a bit of time, but is totally worth it. First you put the peeled fruits in the blender with water and blend until the fruit is pureed. Then you have to strain the juice to get the small, hard seeds out. Finally, put the juice back in the blender with a bit of sugar, mix it up, and pour yourself a glass!
